Lauren joined LionHart in 2020 as a Mortgage Paraplanner, after working as a Mortgage & Protection Adviser at another firm before.
In 2022, Lauren welcomed her daughter, and as her maternity leave came to an end, she wanted to find the right balance between her career and being a mum.
This opened conversations with the Charles, as she realised that Protection Advice was her true passion. As she returned to work, she transitioned into a Protection-only role, which gave Lauren a renewed sense of purpose and allowed her to help clients better understand the importance of protecting themselves and their families.
Over the past year, this role has been a perfect fit for not only Lauren but the wider team. Lauren now handles protection applications referred by advisers, supports colleagues with policy updates, and helps new starters learn the industry. Being able to share her expertise and experiences has strengthened both her professional and personal life, and she's found a balance between being a mum and doing the work she love's!
Outside of work you'll find Lauren either having lots of fun with her little girl, catching up with friends or escaping to the sun for a well-earned break.
